The 1300kg vertical tensile force neodymium precast concrete magnet is commonly used to hold the side moldings of precast concrete elements (e.g. flat floor slabs, walls) in place.
View Details →The Netherlands is experiencing a massive shift toward off-site construction and precast modular concrete systems. Driven by strict local environmental regulations, including national limits on nitrogen oxide (Stikstof) emissions, traditional cast-in-place concrete methods are increasingly being replaced by factory-controlled precast technologies.
In Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and Utrecht, modern housing and civil infrastructure require swift, highly accurate, and sustainable structural components. Utilizing magnetic formwork systems (such as high-holding-force shuttering magnet boxes) is critical to maintaining productivity on steel production beds. This technology eliminates the need to drill holes into the steel casting plates, preserving the machinery's service life and allowing infinite adjustments to the formwork layout.
For Dutch engineering firms and concrete factories, implementing reusable magnetic fixings provides a direct solution to rising labor costs, strict quality standards, and the demanding schedules of infrastructure projects.
Why European precast producers are shifting from local middlemen to verified industrial manufacturers.
By eliminating intermediate distributors, QCM offers direct factory export prices. Realize up to 35% cost savings on neodymium shuttering blocks, magnetic side forms, and chamfering strips, directly shipped to Rotterdam or Amsterdam ports.
Every precast factory has distinct formwork profiles. QCM delivers comprehensive OEM and ODM support, tailoring steel thickness, adapter shapes, release handle designs, and surface treatment (yellow zinc plate or blackened steel) to match your custom forms.
Engineered for high performance, our magnets use premium Rare Earth Neodymium elements wrapped in impact-resistant carbon steel jackets. They are fully compatible with automated robotic handling tables deployed across European precast yards.

Choosing the correct magnetic formwork depends on the height and density of the concrete pour. If the holding force is too low, the hydraulic pressure of the concrete will shift the shuttering profile, resulting in component errors that fail inspection.
For standard Dutch slab production (100mm to 150mm thickness), we recommend a minimum pulling force of 900kg to 1300kg. For deep wall elements, structural columns, and infrastructure panels up to 300mm, a high-holding-force system of 2100kg to 2500kg is required.
Our cases feature protective anti-rust coatings and precision welded joints. By distributing the neodymium magnetic core systematically across the iron path, we achieve concentrated vertical pull force. The integrated release mechanism allows operator crews to deactivate the magnets with minimal physical strain using specialized hand tools.
| Model Series | Pull Force | Application | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| QCM-900 | ≥ 900 kg | Filigree Slabs | 2.7 kg |
| QCM-1300 | ≥ 1300 kg | Solid Floors | 3.1 kg |
| QCM-2100 | ≥ 2100 kg | Wall Panels | 7.2 kg |
| QCM-2500 | ≥ 2500 kg | Heavy Columns | 7.8 kg |
