View Product SpecificationsL-shaped magnets and specialized angle-mounted magnetic systems represent a vital niche in modern structural and industrial assembly lines. Commonly referred to as corner-fixture magnets or right-angle magnetic systems, these devices are designed to resolve structural holding issues where standard flat-surface block magnets fail.
By using an L-profile structural steel housing with high-density neodymium (NdFeB) permanent magnets, these assemblies create a dual-axis clamping force. The primary vector of force acts vertically against the casting bed or work steel table, while the perpendicular side secures the lateral formwork walls, profiles, or structural components. This eliminates lateral sliding and ensures high-precision alignment in concrete and automation engineering.
This design utilizes high-grade materials like N35, N52, or specialized heat-resistant neodymium grades (M, H, SH, UH, EH), allowing these assemblies to maintain magnetic stability under challenging industrial conditions.
Our industrial L-shaped and shuttering magnet assemblies are subjected to finite element analysis (FEA) and physical force testing to ensure performance parameters align with structural calculations.

| 1300 kg Series | ≥ 2800 lbs / 1300 kg | ≥ 430 kg (Steel Bed) | 80°C (up to 120°C custom) |

Our magnets utilize anisotropic, sintered Neodymium-Iron-Boron (NdFeB) blocks. Under standard operations, N35 to N52 grades are used. For applications facing intense curing cycles or steam heating, we integrate high-coercivity grades (M, H, SH, or UH) to resist thermal demagnetization at temperatures up to 150°C.
L-shaped magnets require targeted magnetic flux distribution. Using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), we model internal steel poles that concentrate the magnetic field toward the interface. This configuration minimizes magnetic flux leakage, which prevents metal filings from gathering on non-working surface areas and ensures safer operation.
Our NdFeB blocks are protected by multi-layer plating, including standard Nickel-Copper-Nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) coatings, high-performance Epoxy coatings, and double-layer Zinc coatings. The outer steel housings are treated with blackening, chrome plating, or thermal powder coating to survive concrete slurry exposure.

The 1300kg vertical tensile force neodymium precast concrete magnet is commonly used to hold the side moldings of precast concrete elements (e.g. flat floor slabs, walls) in place.
view moreModern precast concrete plants face demanding production timelines. In regions like the European Union, Australia, and North America, manual welding of formwork is increasingly restricted due to workplace safety regulations and damage to production tables. This is where switchable NdFeB magnetic shuttering systems offer a safe, dynamic, and non-destructive alternative.
By using L-shaped magnet systems, precast manufacturers can rapidly lock down shuttering profiles for walls, columns, and structural beams. The mechanical switch lever allows operators to engage or disengage the magnetic field with a single hammer strike, reducing setup times and minimizing wear on casting tables.
Chinese factories are located within rare-earth manufacturing corridors (specifically around Ningbo, Ganzhou, and Inner Mongolia), providing direct access to premium neodymium raw materials. This proximity reduces transit costs and stabilizes bulk pricing against fluctuating commodity rates.
Furthermore, local factories integrate high-precision CNC milling, automated powder-coating lines, and robotic magnetization within a single facility. This vertical integration allows for customized modifications, such as custom-tapped M12 thread configurations, and ensures reliable quality control at a lower production cost.

The next iteration of switchable magnets will integrate miniaturized strain gauges and RFID tags. This allows real-time telemetry of magnetic holding forces directly to the operator's display console. If a magnet loses adhesion due to debris or vibration, the sensor flags the issue before concrete is poured, reducing defects and rework.
With accelerated steam curing becoming standard in precast plants, standard NdFeB magnets can experience permanent thermal demagnetization over time. We are developing Dy-free (Dysprosium-free) high-temperature magnets that maintain magnetic stability up to 180°C without significant material cost increases.
As green building standards (such as LEED and BREEAM) tighten, carbon tracking of inputs is essential. We are implementing circular recycling programs to reclaim neodymium magnets from worn assemblies, refining the alloy to produce fresh sintered blocks with a lower carbon footprint.
