The selection depends on the height and weight of your formwork. For 60-100mm high slabs, a 900kg (2000 lbs) magnet is usually sufficient. For heavy wall panels exceeding 200mm, we recommend the 2100kg (4600 lbs) or 2500kg models to ensure zero displacement during concrete vibration.
Standard Neodymium magnets are rated for 80°C. If your curing process involves higher temperatures, we offer OEM Custom SmCo Magnets or high-temp Neodymium grades (SH, UH, EH) that can withstand up to 180°C without permanent loss of magnetic force.
Keep the contact surface clean. Concrete buildup on the bottom of the magnet will create an air gap, drastically reducing the pulling force. We recommend cleaning with a wire brush and applying a thin coat of release oil to prevent rust.
