Pioneering Magnetic Fixing Systems for Modern Construction

As structural engineering transitions rapidly toward automated precast concrete production and high-efficiency manufacturing pipelines, the reliance on traditional mechanical bolting continues to decline. Industrial plants face escalating labor costs, severe platform wear, and time-intensive assembly workflows. This is where advanced magnetic clamping systems become a critical lever for operation cost reduction and safety improvement.

"By integrating switchable NdFeB magnetic cores with hardened steel housings, we provide modern precast facilities with structural clamping systems that protect casting beds, eliminate welding, and accelerate formwork setup times by up to 70%."

Our engineering division specializes in solving complex mechanical fixing challenges. We design custom magnetic assemblies that endure the aggressive vibrations, chemical exposure, and high thermal demands typical of modern industrial casting beds. By managing the entire rare-earth supply chain—from oxide processing to mechanical finish—we offer unparalleled consistency in magnetic flux output and physical durability.

Inside the Factory: Engineering & Supply Chain Integrity

An in-depth look at our structural metallurgy, manufacturing capabilities, and global procurement advantages.

Raw Material Hegemony

Direct integration with domestic rare-earth mines in China ensures constant access to grade-A Neodymium (NdFeB), maintaining steady magnetic values even during market spikes.

Advanced Engineering & Customization

Our plants specialize in customized engineering adapters, magnetic urethane chamfers, and specialized Halbach arrays to optimize magnetic fluxes for targeted industrial tasks.

Rigorous Quality Assurance

We mandate physical stress testing, shear force analysis, and thermal-demagnetization monitoring, guaranteeing that every shuttering magnet maintains pull rating for years.

The China Factory Supply Chain Advantage

In the permanent magnet sector, proximity to raw materials is the differentiator between volatile pricing and commercial stability. As a premier Chinese manufacturer, Qianci Magnet (QCM) operates at the epicentre of the world's rare-earth processing hub. This geographic integration offers global procurement officers distinct benefits:

  • Direct Sourcing of High-Coercivity NdFeB: We maintain chemical control over the neodymium composition, ensuring our shuttering systems resist demagnetization during intense vibratory consolidation phases in precast tables.
  • Cost Optimization: By bypassing intermediate material brokers, we pass significant cost reductions directly to our clients, ensuring competitive FOB/CIF terms.
  • Agile Customization Timelines: Our in-house CNC machining workshops and magnetic validation laboratories permit rapid prototyping of custom steel/polyurethane adapters and specialized magnetic array assemblies.

Meeting Global Enterprise Procurement Standards

Enterprise buyers face complex supply-chain compliance demands. We address these through continuous standardization. Our manufacturing units operate under ISO 9001:2015 certification protocols. Every cargo batch is traceable down to the initial chemical composition analysis of the Neodymium magnets. Additionally, our shipping systems comply with strict international customs regulations, utilizing secure protective packaging designed specifically to bypass magnetic shipping restrictions in both air cargo and ocean transport networks.

Localized Support, Compliance, & Site Integration

A major friction point for overseas procurement is the lack of direct localized engineering support. To counter this, QCM coordinates with localized logistics channels and field engineers across North America, Europe, and the Middle East. Whether you need custom adapters to mount our 5500 lbs shuttering systems onto regional formwork profiles, or on-site safety assessments for crane-operated magnetic lifters, our technical service teams ensure clean operational transitions and strict OSHA or CE health and safety compliance.

Industrial Magnetic Systems FAQ

In-depth responses to highly technical questions regarding procurement, structural load ratings, maintenance, and lifetime yield.

1. What determines the lifetime holding force of a precast shuttering magnet?
The lifetime holding force depends primarily on three variables: the grade of the Neodymium core (e.g., N35 up to N52), the quality of the internal epoxy encapsulation protecting the NdFeB from moisture, and physical protection against severe impact. Over time, high impacts can fracture internal sintered magnets, diminishing flux density. QCM systems utilize carbon steel casings and structural spring-cushion arrays to minimize this shock.
2. Why does concrete leakage damage magnetic fixing units, and how do we prevent it?
Concrete slurry is abrasive and basic. If allowed to seep between the magnetic core and the steel casting bed, it creates a physical gap. Even a 0.5mm air gap can reduce magnetic holding force by over 50% due to inverse-square flux decay. We combat this by sealing our housings with premium polyurethane chamfering strips and providing clean steel face profiles that scrape clean easily.
3. Can NdFeB shuttering systems withstand high-temperature curing kilns?
Standard Neodymium magnets begin to suffer permanent demagnetization above 80°C. For industrial curing chambers that reach higher temperatures, QCM custom manufactures shuttering magnets using high-coercivity rare earth formulas (like NdFeB SH or UH grades) that operate safely up to 150°C without irreversible structural flux loss.
4. What is the difference between pulling force and shear (sliding) force?
Pulling force (vertical lift) is the force required to pull the magnet directly up from the steel sheet. Shear force (sliding force) is the force required to slide the magnet horizontally along the steel bed. Generally, the sliding resistance is only 20% to 35% of the vertical holding force. For high lateral pressure pours, mechanical brackets, adapters, and high-rating magnetic boxes (like our 4600 lbs and 5500 lbs units) are recommended.
5. Do you provide custom magnetic assemblies like Halbach arrays for industrial motors?
Yes, our plant features specialized assembly lines for high-precision components. We engineer specialized Halbach array configurations and segmented NdFeB sheets for motors, generators, magnetic couplers, and medical equipment. Our engineering office provides full magnetic flux mapping (using advanced Gauss meters and simulation software) to guarantee custom performance specifications.
